Rough Drafts

Deadline: 22 September 2017

There are no extensions for rough drafts.

Your art rough draft only has to be enough to show the mods you’re working on your assignment(s). It can be very rough and will not be seen by anyone else. If you’re working on traditional art or photo manips, just send whatever you’ve done so far. If you’re working in another media such as video or audio, send an exerpt or even just a screenshot of your workspace. Honestly, it’s that simple.

On the other hand, if you’re all finished, don’t wait – send in your final art as early as you can.

Please note:

  1. Whether a rough or final copy, your artwork rough must conform to the rules, remember that no real people can be included and if your art is a style that makes characters look under-age, no sexual imagery is allowed.
  2. If you are creating traditional art i.e. 2D images, you should submit your copy in jpg, gif or png format. Please keep the image size and shape suitable for web publishing: there’s a separate page with advice about this.
  3. If you are creating a multimedia or mixed media artwork, the file format should be web compatible, for example .wmv, .avi or MPEG for video, MP3 for audio. Ask the mods if you are not sure what file format to use.
  4. Your art should be no more than 300MB in total. If it’s bigger than this, please contact the mods for advice before submitting.

You must submit your rough draft using the online submission form.

Final copy

Deadline: 27 October 2017

Final submissions are final.

The mods will not accept changes to artwork after a final submission has been accepted.
